Overdose Response Application

Overdose Response Application

Illicit drug use continues to be a concern in the United States, as well as globally. Unfortunately, new drugs enter circulation regularly, leaving first responders and clinicians scrambling to save lives, unsure of how the treatments they have will impact survival. Increasing the challenge is the combining of multiple drugs (i.e. heroin/Xylazine).
With over 300 million  (World Drug Report 2025) drug users globally The need to know what drugs are in a region, local or neighborhood is crucial to providing the right treatment to anyone suffering from drug abuse.

We understand that individuals, families and communities are all negatively impacted by drug abuse. Therefore , we believe it is critical for us to do our part to help work towards solutions.

Key Features:

The first technology BIC has started developing  a software application for tracking, in real-time, drugs used in overdoses. It is designed to give first responders a tool to record, in less than a minute, suspected drugs used in a patient, morbidity/mortality, any treatments offered, and the efficacy of the treatment. Once transported, the patient ID is transferred to the hospital, where drug test results, treatments, and survival data are transferred to the database. In addition, BIC seeks to work with treatment centers to provide data on bed availability in real time.

  1. Real-time data
  2. Street level to global mapping of drugs used in overdoses
  3. Successful treatment tracking based on drug/drug combinations
  4. Morbidity/Mortality of overdoses based on locations
  5. Less thank 1 minute to enter data
